APSRTC Recruitment 2017

Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has recently issued an official notification for the recruitment of  239 drivers. These vacancies are divided in Prakasam and Guntur Region. There are 95 driver vacancies in Prakasam Region and 144 driver vacancies in Guntur region.  More details like age limit, educational qualification, how to apply available in below article :-

Eligibility Criteria :-

Age Limit:  Interested candidate  should not be less than 22 years of age and should not be more than 35 years of age.  Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2017.  Please note that SC/ST/OBC candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per government of India norms.
 

Educational Qualification:  Applicant who wants to apply for drivers post with APSRTC should hold a H.G.V or  H.P.M.V or Transport Vehicle licenses.

Selection Process:  applicants will be informed about the date for trade test via notice at the depot. APSRTC  representatives will conduct a test whereby they will assess the driving skills of the candidate. Candidates who clear their driving test will have to undergo a medical test.

Please note that candidates who do not fit the physical standards or who suffer from any sort of disability that will cause hindrance in their regular duty as a driver shall be debarred from applying. Candidates who suffer from partial blindness/ color blindness/ night blindness/ physical deformity of limbs etc can interfere in normal course of work hence such candidates should not apply for above mentioned position.

How to Apply :- Candidates can purchase the form from respective depot managers in Prakasam and Guntur region. Forms are available at Rs 100 each. Candidates should fill the form as prescribed and should attach attested photocopies of address proof, id proof, age proof, caste certificate, driving license, two passport size photographs and two self addressed envelopes. These enclosures should be submitted to the depot manager on or before the last date of application submission date. Please note that forms are available only from 10.30 am to 5 pm on working days.

Please note that SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-service men do not need to pay any amount while procuring the application form. Applications received after the cutoff date or cutoff time will not be considered.

•    Last Date for Submission of Applications in Prakasam: 24-06-2017.
•    Start date for Sale of Applications in Guntur: 06-06-2017
•    Last Date for Submission of Applications in Guntur: 22-06-2017.
